Go Make Disciples

As written in our Community Church Purpose Statement, there are three primary purposes for the church:

Worship of God (Col. 3:16, Eph 1:12, Eph 5:16-19).
Nurture of Believers (Col 1:28, Eph 4:12-13)
Ministry to the World: Evangelism and Mercy (Matt 28:19)

All three purposes must be emphasized continually not only for a healthy church but for a healthy believer of Christ. The outreach to our local community, country and the world for Christ is needed for all believers.

Our goal for the body of Community Church is to have opportunities to reach believers and non-believers for Christ. To accomplish this goal, we will provide opportunities for outreach education, celebrate those in our church body who are serving and encourage you to “Go” and serve as God calls you.

Missions We Support at Community Church

World Missions: To glorify Christ around the world. These could be short-term (less than 2 years) or long-term callings.

Neighborhood Missions: To glorify Christ in our neighborhoods and college campuses here in Oshkosh and around the country.

Church Planting: To support various church plants.

Compassion Outreach: To bring Christ’s love and compassion to those people who are hurting, have suffered loss or are unable to speak for themselves.

KE101 Online Missions Training

Kingdom Expansion 101 (KE101) is a high-quality, facilitated, online basic missions course. The curriculum provides a biblical and strategic framework to assist churches and individuals in making informed decisions about their local and global outreach involvement. The material is designed to help global outreach teams and to assist any adult believer considering his/her response to God’s plan for all the nations.

Coming in January 2012: Perspectives

Since 1974, more than 80,000 believers in North America have experienced the Perspectives course. In 15 lessons, you'll engage with a range of dynamic speakers. Weekly readings and study will help you dig even deeper. Join thousands of others in one of 200 locations.

Missions Advisory Team and Application

The members of the Mission Team will meet monthly to pray and build up the Missions Ministry at Community Church. Please pray with us as we build this area of ministry and check back often to see our progress.
